Snug Tuck Pillow- Fab Find!!!

I am absolutely, totally, positively in LOVE with this product!

The Snug Tuck Pillow - www.snugtuckpillow.com

Lilly recently "graduated" to a big girl bed! We purchased a twin sleigh bed for her and at 3 years old we were just a little concerned with her falling out of bed. She didn't have a toddler bed or anything to transition from her crib, she went right from her crib to the twin bed. Her mattress is also really high off the ground and since it's the sleigh style bed, the mattress sits in the 4 sides of the bed frame. I could just imagine the first "thud".

She is also potty trained but we're working on night time potty training so we wanted something that would be a little flexible for her to get in and out of bed if needed. The standard bed rails are so ugly, bulky and cumbersome to raise and lower. That was totally out of the question for us.

I was strongly considering just sticking one of those pool noodles under her fitted sheet until I came across the Snug Tuck Pillow. It's basically a pillow bolster/bed rail that runs the length of the bed and has an elastic strap that goes underneath the mattress to keep it in place. We put ours on top of the fitted sheet. You can also place it on top of the comforter but Lilly didn't like feeling "trapped" under all the sheets. The ends are sewn to the elastic in way that allows the pillow to move with the child, but not come off the bed. The pillow is made of a dense foam interior with a washable velcro-closure slipcover. There are about 75 fabrics to choose from, or you can send your own fabric for a custom order.

When you order the Snug Tuck Pillow, each one is custom made to your specifications, the ordering process is very easy. The pillow we ordered is the Celery color (matches that Pottery Barn Green color perfectly!) in the 6" diameter. The retail price is $54.95 plus shipping. My total was $66.40 when I used coupon code: MWS for 15% off. I think it took about 2 1/2 weeks for our pillow to be delivered.

There are 3 huge highlights for me about this pillow:

1. It is a MOM OWNED BUSINESS! Yay!!! I love to support mom-prenuers!

2. The pillow is portable! Going on vacation, or overnight at grandmom's? Take it with you. We are going on a cruise in October and I fully intend to bring it along. Just fold it up and put it in a travel tote.

3. It's EASY to change the bed sheets! I slide it off, change the sheets and slide it right back on.
