CF4L Regretsy Submission

I'll admit it LOUD and PROUD.
I love Regretsy.

However, I'm a "silent lurker". I don't post regularly in the forums or on facebook. But I read EVERYTHING, and I donate items to the April's Army Charity Etsy Shop (which btw- raised like $8K last month - IN ONE WEEK for an artist in need!).

So this Guerrilla Craft Store Uprising started where people were going to craft and hardware stores and spelling out CF4L and other "Regretsy words" (yea- there's a whole secret language) with wooden letters, mailbox decals and things like that ...and taking pictures. So I had my own creative inspiration, and sent this submission to the site.

I could not resist a guerrilla CF4L.  I make sweet and innocent personalized toddler / little kids aprons but when cutting out felt letters today I decided to go rouge and feature a CF4L in my Etsy featured items.  Enjoy.

It's been about 2 weeks since I arranged my shop this way with the apron letters spelling CF4L. And today, Christmas came early. My submission was selected as one of 32 entries to possibly win some sort of awesomely inappropriate  prize.So feel free to vote for my entry HERE.

This past 4th of July weekend I went back to visit my hometown of St. Louis, Mo. While I was there I stopped by one of my favorite "midwest" stores- Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby is like the craft mecca. Why we don't have one in the Greater Philadelphia Area is beyond me. Guest Post - Ways to use (diaperbagwrangler) wet bags around the home

Fabulous customer Jolie has been RAVING about The Diaper Bag Wrangler Wet Bags, and is always coming up with uses for them around her home (and letting me know!). I asked her recently to write a guest post and here's what Jolie has to say:

"Since being on facebook I have learned about some wonderful products I would have probably never come in contact with without this form of social media. The Diaper Bag Wrangler is one of those! I have also made some great friends that share in my addiction of cloth diapering. I have cloth diapered since June on 2004. I am currently cloth diapering #4 of our 6 children. I first purchased one of KC’s wetbags to use on the go with my cloth diapers, which I do and they are super! I have tried several different brands of wetbags over the years. DBW’s is my go to bag I reach for over and over again, it seems to contain the "stink" better than any wetbag I have used! They also the cutest fabric prints out there! I use it for other things besides just taking on the go to put dirty diapers in. I have recently started using unpaper towels. I have seen gals using bags to contain their dirty towels and I thought to myself, I have just the thing! The DBW’s wetbags will work for that too. I love the ring that the wetbags have, it is great for hooking on my stove handle to put my dirty unpaper towels in. "

"The hook makes them so versatile, you could hook it on a cabinet knob or any place you can hook the ring. I use mine sometimes in my laundry room to contain cloth wipes I’ve used throughout the day to clean little hands and faces. I’ve recently made the switch to mama cloth. In doing so I was thinking about how to contain the dirty ones. I didn’t want to throw them in my diaper pail. The DBW wetbag was the solution I was looking for. I just hook the ring to the towel rack in the bathroom and I have a perfect place to store mama cloth! I’m thinking the next plunge will be into family cloth. I can see that the DBW’s wetbags will be the perfect solution to contain that as well."

Wouldn't you just love to have a small diaper bag to run into the store with and not have to take the full size bag?  Wouldn't it be nice to just take a few diapers, wipes, and a changing pad on a walk with you, hooked onto the stroller instead of carrying a huge bag?  KC over at the Diaper Bag Wrangler has the perfect items for you!!   Check out her Link Loop Diaper Bag as well as the Link Loop Zippered Wet Bag!   When I received my wet bag (orbit print below), I was SO impressed with the craftsmanship!  Seriously, this is one of the finest products I have ever seen!  I have always used my trust Bumpkin's Wet Bag, but NOW this Link Loop Zippered Wet Bag takes the place and is my go-to diaper bag!  I actually stopped carrying a full size diaper bag and can fit 1-2 cloth diapers, my travel wipes container, diaper cream, fleece strips, and even my changing pad!!   The wet bag has waterproof PUL lining so your soiled dipes won't get anything else wet!  The zipper is of excellent quality and I know will last many many years!!

This Link Loop Diaper Bag is perfect if you use disposable diapers! It has a Velcro closure in the front flap and a back pocket for extra diapers or wipes container!

I know... how can you be in love with an apron? But I AM! I don't know why but I've had such a hard time finding one. I opened shop in November and have been searching for an apron ever since. I wanted one that would kind of double as a quasi-uniform for various events. BUT I also wanted practical.


If you are anything like me, you go through lots of towels in the kitchen. Either they are sopping wet because you wash your hands so many times or you end up with piles of half used towels because you walk around with them and then they aren't handy when you need them.

Check out what this lady did. She made a half apron with snap on towels!!! I love, love, love it! I also purchased 3 replacement towels so that as I work, I can just replace the towel if I make too big of a mess of it. But now I ALWAYS have a towel handy when I need it! And these are made for REAL women too. Because you know I taste what I make! (wink)

And as a bonus, she also has great tie back headbands to keep your hair back. Which is a requirement in the food industry. So now I have a coordinated look that matches my shop colors and is amazingly practical.
